Privacy
The short version: your answers stay in this tab, and there is no account to delete.
Quiz answers
The test is scored by JavaScript in your browser. Your answers are held in
sessionStorage so that a refresh does not wipe a half-finished test. Closing the
tab clears them. They are never sent to a server, written to a database, or attached to an
analytics event.
If you use a shared device, use the “Start over” button before you leave. That clears the stored answers for the tab.
Analytics
The site uses Umami for page-view measurement: the page URL, referrer, device type and country-level location may be recorded in aggregate. Umami is designed to work without advertising cookies or cross-site profiles. We do not send quiz answers, results or email addresses to analytics.
Fonts and third parties
The site loads Playfair Display and Source Sans 3 from Google Fonts. That request shares your IP address and browser headers with Google, as any font request does. No advertising network, social embed or affiliate tracker is loaded.
If you write to [email protected], the message and address are kept only as long as needed to answer it. Do not send sensitive personal information; a correction report only needs the page and the sentence.
Children
The site is written for a general audience and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone.
Changes
